Summary
The IQAir HealthPro Plus is not a cheap air purifier, but its performance is fantastic. During testing, it removed 97.4% of airborne particulates and improved PM2.5 by 99.2%. It lacks app connectivity and an auto mode, but still retains many great usability features including remote control and custom timers. Finally, it has a massive coverage area of 1240 sq. ft with a CADR of 300.
In This Review
Purification Performance
There are three variants of the HealthPro: the standard HealthPro, the HealthPro Plus, and the HealthPro Compact. We tested the HealthPro Plus in our studio.
For our purification test, we place the IQAir HealthPro Plus in a medium sized room (~14’x10’) in our office. We then take a baseline measurement of the air quality using the Temtop LKC-1000S+ professional air quality detector.
We then let the air purifier run for 1 hour at the highest fan speed. Next, we take an additional measurement of the air quality and compare the post-run data to the baseline to determine the performance of the IQAir HealthPro Plus.

The IQAir HealthPro features a unique method for accessing the filters, consisting of a pre-filter for trapping larger airborne particulates, an activated carbon filter for VOCs, gases, and odors, and a HEPA filter as the main defense line for capturing airborne particulates as small as 0.3 microns.
Noise Test
Our results demonstrated that the noise range of the IQAir HealthPro Plus lies between 29 – 57 dB. While it does not have a dedicated sleep mode, it is quiet enough on the lowest power setting at 29.6 dB.

Maintenance
Maintenance echoes the simplicity of operation, with an easy-to-replace filter system.
You will need to replace the filters, which is needed every 6-12 months for the HEPA and every 12 months for the carbon.
